Our silent/muted options use linear switches, which do not produce the traditional clicking sound associated with tactile or clicky switches. They also provide a much smoother press and quieter overall experience.
That said, while the switch itself is silent, you may still hear a small amount of noise from the clicker's moving parts coming into contact with each other during use. This sound is typically much quieter than a standard clicky switch, but the clicker is not completely soundless due to the mechanical nature of the design.
